Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Penguin Labs, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Tilemind (the "App"). It applies to all users of the App on iOS devices.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, automatically as you use the App, and from third parties.
You may provide information directly to us, including email.
Push notification tokens. When you grant notification permission, your device provides an anonymous push token used to deliver notifications.
Purchase records. Apple and/or Google provide confirmation of purchases and subscription status. We do not receive payment card details.
Diagnostic and usage data. Your operating system may provide aggregated, anonymized crash and performance reports unless you opt out.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the App. To deliver requested features, authenticate you where applicable, and operate the App as designed.
- Process purchases and subscriptions. To grant paid access and confirm subscription validity.
- Send notifications. To deliver alerts, reminders, and updates you requested.
- Communicate with you. To respond to support requests and notify you of material changes.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect users. To comply with law and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Your Information
We do not currently share your information with third-party service providers except as required by law or as necessary to operate the App's core functionality.
Legal disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect users, employees, or the public.
Data Retention
We retain your data only while your account is active.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection to certain processing, and a portable copy of your information by contacting apps@penguinlabs.net. We respond within 30 days unless a different legal period applies.
Children's Privacy
Tilemind is rated for ages 9 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent and do not use behavioral advertising for known children under 13.
Tracking and App Tracking Transparency
Tilemind does not track you across apps or websites operated by other companies.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by email where required.
